Hayden smiled softly. “Love you too..” He told her honestly and reached down to take one of her hands. “C’mon..” He said ignoring the neighbors and led her back inside. The delivery man arrived not to long after they god back in so Hayden paid handing Lily a box of food.

Hayden kissed her back before he held her close. “No.. you weren’t being a bitch, I was being a dick.. don’t be sorry.” He told her softly as he leaned down to kiss the top of her head before just holding her there in a hug.

Hayden tensed up when she wrapped her arms around him. He hadn’t realized she’d followed him into the kitchen. He took a deep breath closing his eyes to keep himself composed. “Just drop it, okay?”
Now Lily was just completely aggravated. “You know what fine. I don’t care. We’ll drop it.” She left the kitchen and walked through the living room straight for the front door. “If you need me, I’m taking a walk. I’ll be back later.” she told him as she started to leave the apartment. She didn’t feel like dragging out the argument any more. She would get the same response each time. There’s no point.

“That’s it..” Hayden muttered getting his feet and walking away into the kitchen. He couldn’t deal with Lily’s teasing anymore involving Ian. Nothing had changed the fact that he couldn’t stand the bastard and he was done hearing about him. In the kitchen he took as long as he could to cut a piece of pie to avoid going back in the other room.
